Are you an entrepreneur ?

If you have ever asked yourself that question I hope this will help you

Entrepreneur Definition 1 -One who assumes the risks of business

Definition 2- One who doesn't realize that the job is impossible!

Do you have what it takes? To take on the risk of failure or success on your own shoulders , does it excite or exhilarate you ? Or does the notion fill you with dread ? If its the former then maybe you are an entrepreneur and ready to take on your own business.

Have you asked yourself why you want to go it alone? Its a good idea to have a really good think about this question and make a list of pros and cons, it may go like this:

Pros - Work when you want as much or as little as you want.

Earn more money if you are successful.

No boss to answer to.

Take holidays when you want.

Retire young.

Cons- If you are disorganised you get no work done.

You may not earn money and actually lose money.

With no boss you may lack direction.

You may be working so hard that you get no holidays!

You may end up working when others have retired .

So just this short list is a lot to consider. The facts say that a huge 50% of businesses fail in the first year and only 21% are still going after 10 years. But you need not be put off if you can find the right opportunity, one that suits you and one that you understand then with hard work and determination you can succeed and fulfill your dreams.

If you don't want to commit large sums of money to your business start up and you don't want to have large running costs with hidden extras that you didn't consider then internet marketing is a great way to get started in business and you should at least consider it . If you can find a genuine company that can provide you with a mentor to show you the correct way to set up and run your business then this will give you a great headstart. The great thing about internet marketing is that it can be set up in your spare time so you don't even have to leave your job until you replace your income ,so reducing the risk to you.

The skills you will learn with internet marketing can be applied to many different businesses and once learnt can be invaluable for any entrepreneur whatever their goals are.

So if you fit the bill and think you are or maybe an entrepreneur then take a look at what the internet has to offer you may be pleasantly surprised and find that some of the risk associated with a new business start up is lessened by the small overheads.

A new Lamborghini or a month off work for life?

A new Lamborghini or a month off work for life ? This was the question I saw on an internet survey this week and it really made me stop and ponder. Of course we'd like both please! But if it came to it which would you choose ? I discussed it with a pal of mine and he missed the point and started calculating the price comparison, but I don't think that was the point . The point is which is more precious to you material goods or time ?

Time is the one thing we just can't get back no matter how we try, whether you cherish time spent with family or time spent on new experiences you just can't get more than your alloted time on this earth. But you can choose how you spend that time and I bet a pound that you'd rather not spend your time at work for the next 10,20 or 30 years waiting to retire on a pension that might not even exist by then , just so you can eventually choose how your days are spent.

Only you can decide whats right for you , but maybe you should look at your life ,and think about how you can create more freedom right now! You might not know how but if you don't take time out to look you'll never know

I certainly know the answer i'd give to the above question i'll take the month off thanks, but what do you want? A Lamborghini or more time?

The answers in the survey were overwhelmingly in favour of the free time 76% and maybe the other 24% had already retired ? I don't know.

What will the ongoing costs be with Yournetbiz?

This is a very good question as anyone who has any business experience will know , you start up a business and think that you have covered all the potential fixed costs and variable costs only to find that there were dozens of things that you had either forgotten or had no way of knowing about and these costs are eating into your bottom line profit.
Well its good news because there are so many free resources online you will find that your costs can be limited to

  • Autoresponder- personally I use Aweber ,the cost is $19 per month.

  • Yournetbiz monthly fee $59 per month.

  • Printing costs such as cards or flyers £200

  • Internet connection £15

I am presuming that you have a computer and a mobile phone, if not a good laptop can be bought from £350 . I use an i-phone and find that the camera is more than adequate for uploading quality pictures. You may need a video camera these can be bought from £60 but again the i-phone s video is adequate . In fact if you are intending starting any kind of online business the i-phone is an absolute boon and I would be lost without mine!

As you progress you may want to buy some website building software or video software . XSitepro website builder is popular and costs $197 ,this is a one off payment so quite reasonable value . For personalising videos Camtasia is popular and costs $299 its up to you . As far as online advertising cost go Google Adwords can be used and the costs for this will vary but I would encourage you to build your brand and your online prescence before using this method .

So as you can see no 'horror stories ' as far as ongoing costs are concerned for Yournetbiz . I was actually very pleasantly surprised to find this out myself as I didn't know what costs may come to light that I hadn't prepared myself for prior to joining . I hope this helps anyone considering Yournetbiz to make a better informed decision full in the knowledge that the business can be operated on a small budget.

In fact I can't think of any other business model where the income earning potential is so high from such a small initial and ongoing investment.
